Why Cotton?
How good does it feel on your skin to roll around in cotton sheets? To wear breezy cotton clothing on a hot summer’s day? We’ve got news for you, it can really heat up in a diaper and cotton is not only soft to the touch it naturally ventilates the skin. Cotton is the comforting and healthy choice, that’s why hospitals, doctor’s offices, and your own parents used cotton on your skin when it needed soothing and healing. Check out one of our countless testimonials below from parents and babies that experienced immediate relief when they switched from “absorbant” plastic chemical-laden big brand disposables to PH balanced cotton.
Isn't It Inconvenient?
Nope, not with Tidee Didee! All you gotta do with your diaper is toss it in one of our stink-free pails, available for purchase, or you can use your own! That’s right, no scraping or rinsing! Then one of our stellar delivery drivers stops by your house every week – even on holiday weeks – and ferries your used diapers away. Leaving you with a fresh bundle of soft cotton comfort for your bundle of joy. The driver will also drop a new freshener for your pail to keep your home from smelling like Eau de Diaper.
What is Cloth Diaper Service and what does Tidee Didee doo? (not a typo😜)
Tidee Didee’s weekly service includes:
Diaper Rental: Tidee Didee provides high-quality cloth diapers for rent. This allows you to always have the right amount of diapers on hand, without the need to purchase them outright.
Delivery: On a scheduled day each week, we deliver fresh and clean cloth diapers to your home or business.
Pick-Up: On the same delivery day, we collect the soiled diapers, which customers are asked to store in a suitable manner.
Laundering: We count and thoroughly clean the soiled diapers in industrial machines, using eco-friendly cleaning solutions. Our process ensures that all diapers are stain-free, germ-free, and pH balanced.
Preparation for Re-Delivery: Once cleaned, the diapers are prepared for the following week’s delivery, completing the cycle.
Example of a Prepaid Service Period:
If the customer’s first delivery is on May 12, 2023, and they are on a Friday route with prepayment for four weeks of service, then their service dates would be as follows:
- First service: May 12, 2023 (Friday)
- Second service: May 19, 2023 (Friday)
- Third service: May 26, 2023 (Friday)
- Fourth service: June 2, 2023 (Friday)
So, their last service date in the prepaid period would be June 2, 2023. After that, they would need to renew or prepay for the next period of service.
This service model applies to only individual households. Tidee Didee’s service not only provides convenience and cost savings but also contributes to environmental sustainability and supports faster potty training for babies.

What Are The Prefold Diapers? Do I Get To Choose Different Cloth Diaper Styles With Tidee Didee?
Prefold diapers are 3-panel diapers made from multiple layers of lightweight, woven fabric with extra layers in the center panel for absorbency. Tidee Didee prefolds are 4x6x4 style, which means 4 layers for left and right panel and 6 layers for the middle panel.

Now That I've Signed Up For Tidee Didee Service, What Else Do I Need To Prepare?

How Does Modern, No-Pins Cotton Diapering Work?
With modern diapering you simply place a diaper cover over a soft, three-panel diaper (the center panel is extra-thick and absorbent). That’s all. No pins needed. (For summer and other times when you might want your baby to wear a diaper with no outer cover, you can use either pins or diaper clips. The slight added effort for these few occasions is balanced by the fact that disposables don’t ever allow you the option of shedding the outer plastic covering for your baby’s summer comfort.)
How Often Should I Change My Baby?
All diapers (whether cotton or disposable) need to be changed often — every two hours or so. Bacteria begin to form as soon as a child does their business. Leaving a diaper on a baby for prolonged periods produces irritation and can also compromise the skin to the point of serious infection. The chemicals that create a feeling of dryness in big brand disposables have misled parents into believing that as long as the diaper feels dry, it’s alright to leave it on. This is not true! Dry does not mean clean, the pee and poop absorbed by the chemicals still remains right next to a baby’s skin. Poop in particular is a tremendous breeding ground for noxious bacteria. Absorbent chemicals do not address nor do they change the baby’s need to be changed frequently.
If I Want To Fold A Cotton Diaper the Traditional Way, How Do I Do It?
It’s easy with today’s three-panel diaper, which is a far cry from the big, gauzy rectangle of yesteryear. Just follow these simple instructions:
1. Fold the diaper in thirds.
2. Open overlapping back section. Place the baby on the diaper with the wide top section centered at the baby’s legs. Close in between the legs.
3. Bring the wide back ends of the diaper over the baby’s hips and pin to the front section. Ease the pad section wider as necessary to comfortably encircle the baby below the navel. While pinning the diaper, insert your finger between the baby and diaper for baby’s protection. Pin out as the picture shows.
Again, using a modern diaper cover over the diaper eliminates the need for pinning.
What if my baby has large thighs? Are there other traditional alternatives?
You might want to try a “bikini twist” fold. Again, just follow these simple instructions:
1. Lay the diaper flat.
2. Twist the diaper in the middle.
3. Bring the back ends of the diaper over the baby’s hips and pin to the front section. Ease the pad section wider as necessary to comfortably encircle the baby below the navel. While pinning the diaper, insert your finger between the baby and diaper for baby’s protection. Pin out as the picture shows.
Again, using a modern diaper cover over the diaper eliminates the need for pinning.

What Do I Do With Soiled Diapers?
We deliver fresh diapers in a bag with a label, which includes your account number, name, diaper size and quantity. When you receive the fresh batch, take out all the diapers from the bag and place them in the diaper drawer. Then use the bag as a liner of diaper pail. The night before your weekly pick-up/drop-off day, pull the bag out of the diaper pail and leave it outside for us to pick up the next morning (as early as 6 a.m.)!
Please do not rinse or soak the diapers. There is no need, we do it all!
I Want To Use Disposable Diapers In The Beginning And Switch To Cloth Diapers. How Long Do I Have To Start The Regular Tidee Didee Service?
Your days will be filled with joy, happiness, and exhaustion🥱 especially during the first few days after labor. If you’ve already decided cloth diaper is your ultimate diaper solution, we recommend that you limit disposable diaper days to a maximum of couple of weeks. Your baby will feel comfortable in their super absorbent disposable diapers (as advertised) and transition to cloth diaper will be difficult when you wait beyond few weeks.
Assuming you’ve signed up for our service prior to labor and received the first set of fresh diapers before due date- you have up to 6 weeks to call us to start the regular service.
If you wish to start using the cloth beyond 6 weeks after your first delivery, this will be considered a cancellation. We won’t be able to refund or provide store credit for the initial 4 week subscription service fee. Please also call us immediately and make arrangements to return all diapers, so that you won’t be charged for the diapers at retail price.
Would 70 Diapers Be Enough For The Whole Week?
For newborns, you’d change diapers 10-12 times a day. Based on our many years of experience, 70 is a sufficient amount of diapers. If you find you are going through more diapers, please give let us know. We can add another 10 diapers to your circulation.
What Happens After I Start The Regular Service?
During sign-up, we’d add your address on one of our routes. This means, you are assigned to one of Monday to Friday delivery schedules. Please leave your soil bag outside the night before your scheduled service day so that we can pick-up your soiled diapers as early as 6 a.m. While we pick-up, we will leave you a fresh set of 70 Newborn size diapers.
If you find Newborn size diapers are too big or small, please let us know at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled delivery day so that we can bring the bigger size diapers. If you are expected to receive bigger size diapers, please leave ALL of smaller size diapers (soiled and fresh) for pick-up. Failure to return previous size diapers will incur additional cost on your invoice. Please refer to Loss/Compromised Diaper section in our terms and conditions.
After two deliveries, your weekly diaper count is based on the previous week’s soil count. For example, if you return 62 diapers this week, you will receive 62 diapers the following week. We assume unreturned diapers are available at your home.
Do I Need To Purchase My Own Diaper Pail Liners?
We deliver fresh diapers in a bag with a label, which includes your account number, name, diaper size and quantity. When you receive the fresh batch, take out all the diapers from the bag and place them in your diaper drawer. Then use the bag as a liner of the diaper pail.
The label on your soiled bag is important for us to keep track of your soil counts. Based on the current soil counts, we’d know the number of diapers to send you the following week.
If you need to use extra bags to return diapers, please clearly write your Tidee Didee account number on the bag. Our drivers will pick up extra bags with our account number and we’d be able to capture your soiled counts appropriately at the plant. Remember, if your soil count is inaccurate, you will receive improper number of diapers the following week.
How Do You Clean Diapers?
One of the benefit of using diaper service comes from efficient energy and water usage through collective laundry.
We use industrial washer and boiler to mechanically soften the soils. With the minimum temperature at 140 degrees, we literally ‘boil’ diapers.
Our rigorous wash cycles use least amount of water and solutions including oxygen bleach (sodium percarbonate). Our solution makes sure we end up with germ-free, stain-free, and perfectly pH balanced diapers. Then, we use incredibly high efficient industrial dryer.
Our diapers are 100% cotton, 200% love. ❤️
